Citizen Eye Ghana (CITEG) is a dynamic civil society organization driven by the vision of building a just, secure, and prosperous nation where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive. Established on the principles of vigilance, service, and social responsibility, CITEG serves as the “citizen’s eye” watching over society, identifying pressing challenges, and working actively to create sustainable solutions.
At the heart of CITEG is a commitment to nation-building through innovative interventions across multiple sectors. The organization is structured into five departments, each dedicated to addressing key areas of national development:
Security is the foundation of national progress. Through its security wing, CITEG works to promote safety, accountability, and justice in communities. It combats issues such as illicit trade, organized crime, and public safety concerns, while also empowering citizens to actively participate in safeguarding their environment. CITEG Security serves as a trusted watchdog, ensuring transparency and integrity in both public and private spaces.
With compassion at its core, the Charity Foundation uplifts the vulnerable and marginalized. It provides relief to disadvantaged communities, supports education and healthcare initiatives, and champions humanitarian causes. The Foundation embodies the spirit of shared responsibility, extending a hand of hope to those in need.
Information is power, and CITEG Media ensures that truth is told, voices are heard, and citizens are informed. The department produces credible journalism, advocacy campaigns, and awareness programs aimed at fostering accountability and civic participation. By harnessing modern media tools, CITEG amplifies citizen voices and bridges the gap between the people and policymakers.
Food security is national security. Through its agricultural arm, CITEG promotes sustainable farming, supports local farmers, and advocates for policies that protect natural resources. The department also develops projects to modernize agriculture, create employment opportunities, and contribute to Ghana’s economic growth through agribusiness.
Mobility drives development. CITEG’s transport wing supports safe, reliable, and affordable transportation systems while addressing the challenges of urbanization, road safety, and logistics. The department also facilitates partnerships to improve infrastructure and ensure that citizens can connect to opportunities across the country.
